a trend in Hong Kong. In 2011, temporary stores and restaurants known as popups were rampant. This sign advertised for pizza to go at the address where Italisn restaurant Fat Angelo's had just closed. They found a way to make money while redesigning the space. Speaking of trend I am reminded of semi-recent food trends...pizza, burger joints, frozen yogurt.
Friday, June 26, marked my second curated group show at Pizza Studio USC.
The show remains up for one month and features a collection of emerging and established Los Angeles artists and photographers and one Bay Area artist.

A popup bar has appeared in Brighton on the east beach opposite Madeira Terrace using containers which have been repurposed as a venue. A modern idea and not too different to trendy places in London. The development appears to have been built by a company called Eldapoint.
