Facilitated an introductory hands-on workshop in the use of popular education techniques based on complementary approaches to Education for Liberation developed by “Paulo Freire” & Augusto Boal.
Participants’ came to learn about the organizing practices of Pedagogy and Theatre of the Oppressed led by Tony Cealy.
Using theater to work with oppressed peoples of the world we developed critical thinking and actions to overcome social systems of oppression. Participants then put in practice systems so that they could apply them in their own campaigns.
