2019 - Michelin GT Challenge at VIR
Taken in the stunning gardens of Englefield House. Englefield is named after the battle there, between the Saxons & Danes in AD 871. It is thought to mean “Englishmen’s (Battle) Field”. or “Field of angels” becoming Englefield in time.
I left my DSLR at home today and spent the day trialing my new Canon PowerShot SX240 HS. It's very good and can be used in places where a DSLR creates too much attention.

Late afternoon sun and free flowers. Free insofar as we didn’t plant them. In fact I thought I had dug them over last year but here they are!
How cool are these new Marvel figs? Look at them! Why do I like them so much? Maybe it's the trans-clear display stands, they look so dynamic. We got those with the earlier DC CMFs and I wasn't this enamoured with those figs. Maybe it's a Marvel thing...
