The Pop-Out-Library is dedicated to the Bottemless Paddling Pool, who made me think of it by his remark on my first matchbook.
Here are both versions I and II in the picture. The open one was the first I made.

Tried my hand at some editing to make the tank look like it's popping out of this picture.

The image was captured at Oak Point Harbor marina, just on the other side of my neighbors property.
As this medium sized bird of the Heron family flew in and perched on a piling near sundown at the marina, I was surprised to see the community of swallows swoop in like dive bombers with an almost constant bombardment, buzzing, cackling and overall agitation of the much larger heron. The larger bird was clearly annoyed as swallows sometimes grazed the heron as they buzzed and heckled. The heron would occasionally snap it's beak quickly but unsuccessfully at the smaller but quick and constant little irritants, as you and I might upon reflex, swat at a persistently distracting fly around our head. As the sun disappeared behind the trees on the horizon and dusk took over the late evening, the swallows had no choice but to accept defeat as the night heron calmly waited atop it's temporary wooden home.
These birds have a long but well suited name, sporting a dark crown and mainly do their feeding at night. They primarily eat small fish, crustaceans, frogs, aquatic insects, and small mammals.

Red/Cyan 3D glasses required for viewing.
The following is an explanation of a phantogram and viewing instructions...
Phantograms are a special effect done to 3D stereos (usually anaglyphs) to make them seem VERY 3D, as if you could reach out and grab them when viewed at a 45 degree angle. Usually it's best to print the picture to accomplish this view. If done correctly, the object should appear to stand up above the table where the printed image is laying flat. Another method for viewing a phantogram is to tilt the flat screen monitor back so that you're viewing at a 45 degree angle. If this is not feasible, you may bring the image up in a viewer or editor and rotate the image 90 degrees. Then lean over at the waist, tilting your head while viewing the screen from a 45 degree angle.
Crossview Format: Gently cross your eyes while viewing and focus on the middle image that appears while ignoring the outside. With practice you will see depth. Please click "ALL SIZES".

THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN!
Never ever thought I would be less then 10 days away from completing my 365.
The year seems to have gone so fast. I've learned bunches.
Unfortunately, I won't be continuing the journey afterward. It will be so strange not to take a photo everyday. It will feel like I am breaking a commandment or something. I've never missed a single day, the whole project.
I might start this again next year, or if I crack, a week after I am done and bored, who knows. Maybe even try a 52 weeks. I will miss being creative, as these things really force you to be awesome.
My newest goal after my 365: Fitness
A 365 workout. I am going to sign up at the gym and work my ass off. I wanna get to wear I can say to myself "DAMNNNN!" I know everyone will say, "You're already Great", but really I must, I'm not want I want to be at. I want that dream body.... then I won't have to Photoshop so much.... LOL! ;-)
Oh, and I am taking a Pilates class at school this semester... that ought to be interesting... hehehe
What have I done? hahha
I figured if I can spend about 3-4 hours a daily on flickr ( gathering ideas, taking photos, editing, uploading, browsing, all combined) everyday, then I can put all that energy into getting lean and muscular. I will still be around, just not as much.
Well.... 9 photos to go my dears. I will try to entertain. ^^

Red/Cyan 3D glasses required for viewing. The SB was large for the NPO, so I ended up painting over the background and cloning most of the figure from the left chip to the right, in effect a conversion to remove R/R from the effects of painting the background.
