直径20メートル、水深3.5メートル、湧き水だけで満たされた池です。曇りの日でしたが、水の色は幻想的なエメラルドグリーンでした。
この太い蔓からふじの花が咲くのをみてみたいです。
It is a pond that has been worshiped since ancient times.
It is a pond with a diameter of 20 meters, a depth of 3.5 meters, and filled with spring water. It was a cloudy day, but the color of the water was a fantastic emerald green.

Named for one of the assistant superintendents of Yosemite who once got his vehicle stuck in the mud where this pond forms.
There is just something about being out in open country, about seeing the sun rise over a pond, that's really beautiful.

Here's another photo from my old files. My Dad, who passed away in June at the age of 94, was visiting us on the Big Island several years ago and was standing right next to me when I took this, so this has very special meaning.

Cascade ponds - This is just small ponds framed by beautiful mountains and pine trees at Banff National park. It offers a very beautiful place for a walk. The views on every directions had their unique beauties with Canadian Rocky as a backdrop.
