To kick off the week of festivities leading up to the Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremonies and inaugural Polynesian Bowl at Aloha Stadium, the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame Foundation partnered with a number of local organizations to provide a free football clinic for Hawaii middle and intermediate school football players from three public intermediate schools in West Oahu. Selected schools are participating in the State of Hawaii’s R.E.A.C.H. Initiative. The purpose of this clinic is to increase football skills, in-game awareness, and player safety along with nutritional advice on healthy diets and lifestyles.
The selected schools use their R.E.A.C.H. funding for after-school football programming which requires that participating student-athletes maintain similar standards as Hawaii High School students, a 2.0 with no F grades, mandatory grade checks, study hall, and youth physical.
The Polynesian Bowl will be played at Aloha Stadium on Saturday, January 21st and will showcase High School All-Stars from around the nation, including a number of All-Stars from across Hawaii.

Other board members include Troy Polamalu, Vai Sikahema, June Jones and Reno Mahe. Its permanent home is located at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, Hawai’i.
