This is a skirt that I knitted with Soft Tweed by RY Classic Yarns (%56 wool, 20% viscose, 14% polyamide, 10% silk). I made it when it was really cold out and I was getting frustrated about how difficult it was to keep warm while still looking feminine under all those layers. I thought of knitting this skirt that you could throw on over a flowy summer skirt so you still get the flirtatiousness and movement of the summer skirt but it is more practical for cold weather. This design was featured in Glitter Magazine's November issue.

Spun from a base of Merino wool/alpaca, in a deep midnight blue/black with touches of purple in a very thick and thin style, I let gold thread autowrap the singles as I spun. I then plied with a grey-brownish polyamide novelty yarn, for extra softness and texture. This is thick yet wispy, decadently soft, and begging to be touched and petted.
Knit or crocheted up on big needles or hook, this would be a perfect cowl or scarf. It is as mysterious as clouds drifting across a moonless night sky.
There’s approximately 69 yards.
This yarn is a three ply, very bulky, weight is 4.4 ounces.

For one of our clients it was highly important to personally evaluate the performance and print quality before buying the product. Therefore, we used a Sinterit LISA PRO 3D printer to print a polyamide casing, a cap, a set of interchangeable axes and some other test models. The client was completely satisfied with the quality of the presented models and bought this 3D printer shortly after.
