Knitted using the basic sock pattern from Winwick Mum, using her fantastic tutorial.
2.5mm DPNs, and the yarn is 50% superwash wool, 25% bamboo and 25% polyamide.
“Quilts in Women’s Lives III,” 2012, 16 mm film, polyamide thread, lithography, ink, cotton thread. This quilt was made from triangularly-cut scraps of other quilts, featuring films such as “Quilts in Women’s Lives,” “What is a Dress?” and “Peruvian Weaving,” alongside hand-painted footage and clear film leader.

This scarf is incredibly snugly and soft! The bright blues and whites will compliment a variety of winter jackets.
This fluffy scarf was hand-knit from a polyamide, acrylic, and cotton blend specialty yarn called "Jewelsong." The yarn is a ribbon yarn with a soft, frayed edge, resulting in the fluffy texture. The scarf is approximately 3 ft. 7 in. (109 cm) long by 4 1/2 inches (11.4 cm) wide.
Care: Hand wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry.

This yarn makes durable, beautiful sock yarn that knits up into medium/thick gradually changing stripes. The added stretch of elastic, combined with soft wool, creates a fingering weight yarn for everyday wear.
Many appliances fit into this handknitted little thing. Unlike the Red Button bags I made before, this one will fit an I-phone 4.
I used 75% wool/25% polyamide for these sock cosy type of bags. They are knitted with the Fair Isle technique. This makes it a very sturdy but still stretchy fabric. The object you put inside will be protected. It is knitted without a seam. The elastic black closure is sewn to the bottom of the bag. Just for fun I added a yellow button.
Length: 13.0 cm. (5.11 inch)
Width: 7.5 cm. (2.95 inch)
Colors: green, blue, purple, pink, lilac, a touch of mustard yellow, and orange. Many colors due to the use of 2 strands of self striping sock wool. The end result still surprises me everytime. That is the fun part of knitting it.
