Converted to F-111G.
1980: To SM-ALC (Sacramento Air Logistics Center).
Used as an Engineering Flight Test Aircraft by the 2874th Test Squadron until 1987
1984: Received the orange and white paint scheme for conspicuity during testing
1987: Grounded, it was used in support of the N-Ray facility and used as the prototype for F-111 bead blast and polyurethane paint
This aircraft was used to test:
1. New operational flight programs
2. Prototypes of new systems
3. New wing seals
4. Terrain following radar (TFR) humidity testing in support of the SM-ALC Blue Ribbon Panel 1n 1984
5. Avionics Modernization Program (AMP) attack radar test in 1985 and 1986
6. First Air Force Weapon System to flight test a polyamide composite - installed in the left hand translating cowl in July 1969
7. Used as photo and safety chase until grounded in 1987
Retired to McClellan AFB CA Museum.
Unusually fitted with Triple Plow I intakes instead of TP II.

Handpainted sockyarn, a skein has 100 grams
This sockyarn has a wonderfully soft yet durable quality which is from 75% Merino wool and 25% polyamide.
It's dyed by hand with colors named Luvotex.
Handpainted in semi solids.
You get a 100 gram skein, which is, as the experience shows, enough for socks in size 44 (depending on cuff-length)
The wool has a length of about 420 m/100gr.
Recommended needle size is 2.5 mm - 3 mm
The wool is washable at +30.0 °C = +86.0 °F in the washing machine (please choose the settings for wool)

Clearance yarn from Hobby Lobby! $1.99/skein. I found 3 in the same dyelot. I found two that might've been the same but I left them for somebody else.
I had to take this with indoor lighting on the cat tree, so please forgive the cat hairs. :-) I really wanted to photograph this yarn for my Ravelry stash, but didn't go outdoors due to the massive winds and the many wildfires currently ravaging the width of the state.
Yarn Bee Aurora. 89yds/skein. 3 skeins. 95% polyamide, 5% polyester.
ODESSA hat (from magnits feb/06) and SHETLAND TRIANGLE (from wrap style). Both made from Atelje Zitron´s Kokon (cotton, silk, polyamide), less than 50 g for hat and 100 g for scarf.
They are nice and light for spring use! I just can´t help thinking that the hat looks bit like a bandage over my head...
