This photo was taken by a Hasselblad 500C medium format film camera and Carl Zeiss S-Planar 1:5.6 f=120mm lens mounted on a Hasselblad 21mm extension tube using Fuji 400-H film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitalized with Photoshop.

While at the balloon fest we came across some cactus that had flowered. I then saw a bee in one of the flowers. It was amazing watching to move inside the flower gathering more and more pollen.

I found this wasp on Goldenrod in WEstern Pennsylvania.

The fields around Hursley are planted with oilseed rape this year and it's just starting to explode with colour and seemed like a suitable test for the PX680 β film. This was fully shielded from the bright sunshine by the old shoot into a bag thing. Colour seems pretty good, but it's a shame the hazy background sky is blown out.

Whilst unsuccessfully trying to photograph busy bees in my garden, I managed to capture this hoverfly which stayed still a little longer for me.

Stapelia grows and flowers well outdoors in SE Brazil. Theses plants grow in a garden in Campinas, São Paulo State, in spite of a much rainier climate than that of their original habitat

Despite being mainly hunters, wasps may also play the role of pollinators sometimes. In the photo: a wasp consuming floral resources in Serra do Cipó, Brazil.

Not sure what kinda wasp this is, it was about an inch in length with sizable wings too.
