Because of the car show, all buses had to use Millennium Way instead of the High Street to get to the bus station.
The ring originally comprised 60 stones, of which only 27 remained standing at the end of the 20th century. The tallest stones stand at the south and west of the ring. The stones are set within a circular ditch up to 3 metres (9.8 ft) deep, 9 metres (30 ft) wide and 380 metres (1,250 ft) in circumference that was carved out of the solid sandstone bedrock by the ancient residents.

Gettysburgh - The Pennsylvania Memorial. Obviously this is the largest memorial at the old battle site. These (brass or copper?) plaques were placed on the stone buttreses to show visitors the direction of where various key battle/fighting sites were located.
These all come from a day out and about Tokyo. First day off in a while and I walked about with the camera all day. Walked from Ikebukuro to Shibuya and then down to Shimo Kitazawa. I wanted to try something different, bored of the generic `Tokyo Street`..I wanted to take pictures which weren't obvious as to where I was...A big challenge. But I am really happy how it all turned out.. Please view them as a set..

Norman after an exhausting walk. Many birds were chased, none were caught. I love watching him run after birds. I think he knows he has no chance of catching them but continues to try anyway.
