St Tropez is a pretty little fishing village in southeastern France - at least it was until the 1960s when the French and Italian Riviera began to attract the attention of the so-called "jet set". Although St Tropez is no longer the haunt of rich socialites that it once was, luxury yachts still easily outnumber fishing boats.
This is point-and-shoot photo shows St Tropez village viewed from above.
A performance photo from 2013 when I first started taking photos at my various gigs, concerts and shows. My Sony Cyber Shot, wasn’t my first camera but it taught me a lot about low light photography and capturing good performance photos.
Best seat in the house. This is a black and white version of a previous submission. Yashica T4 point and shoot.
It was a cloudy gloomy day today. Then at the last moments of the day the sun broke through to illuminate the landscape as it seems to only do in the Land of Enchantment.
Took my Nikon point and shot on a walk yesterday. Not my typical camera, but I knew there would be a sunset at the end of a rainy day. These colors made taking the camera worth it.
Park Avenue Trailhead, Arches National Park, Moab, Utah, USA
The Park Avenue Trail is one of the first major attractions within Arches National Park. It is a one-mile trail that follows the bottom of a canyon at the feet of some of the park’s gigantic and well-known monoliths.
The Park Avenue Trail is most aptly named for New York City’s famous street. Early travelers noticed a similarity between these sandstone spires and the famous skyscrapers along New York’s Park Avenue, and the name stuck. The main difference, of course, is that the “skyscrapers” of Arches National Park were sculpted by nature.
Flacq District, Mauritius

I'll post one picture every thursday, with the motto "Great places, bad cameras"

Named after the island that it stands on, Eilean (Island of) Donan, Eilean Donan Castle was built in the mid 13th century as a fortified castle. Since then, it has been built and re-built at least four times.
One of the most famous visitors was in the 14th century when Sir Robert the Bruce, was given refuge there.
The castle also played part in the Jacobite rebellion of 1715.
Eilean Donan is considered to be the most photographed castle in Scotland, and has been featured in movies such as James Bond's - The World is Not Enough
