Eyes of gold
Are beaming out
As if to burn your heart
They mesmerise
They hypnotise
You're powerless to depart
You cannot look away
Nor move
They hold you in their glare
You're trapped
Within a sea of gold
Captive of a golden stare

By water’s edge, in shadows deep,
A feathered watch, a patient keep.
With suit of black and belly white,
It darts and flits in morning light.
A tail that wags, a call that sings,
This little bird with open wings
Launches quick on fearless flight,
A dance in air, so deft and light.
It skims the stream and snaps the fly,
An acrobat beneath the sky.
In quiet pools and river bends,
The Black Phoebe lives, ascends.
In hidden coves, it builds with care,
A mud-lined nest in cool, still air.
And through the seasons, lone and free,
It sings its soft, sharp melody.
The Power of Reading and Knights Manifesting.
I remember sitting on the couch with my mom.
Listening and imagining every word of her story.
It was about a young man who lived in a magical world.
The man had a special gift.
He could fight.
He was destined to live through many great adventures.

We tend to celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied ad multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.
