Lily Jude has truly become a little person.
There is that time when a baby takes on a personality of her own. Her reactions to those things around become unique in such a wonderful way.
It has been over a month since I have seen Lily and it was such a wonderful treat to get to spend a little bit of time with the Hudocks today. I watched Lily explore everything around and I can honestly say that I could spend hour upon hour just watching her.
The Universe is a source of fascination for Lily right now. It would be a wonder to see the World through her eyes. Perhaps, it is a way of seeing the World from which many of us could learn.
POD 97 - Mom came over to visit. She was into photography back in the day and still like checking out my camera gear. I think there might be a smile about to break out...

Sometimes work isn't work at all.
I had two photo assignments today. The first was to shoot headshots and portraits for my friend, Stephanie. Hopefully they will be helpful in her pursuit of one of her passions, acting. Sometimes the road that we choose is bumpy and unpredictable in places. Much of the time, it is character that keeps one from ending up in the ditch on the side of this road. I whole-heartedly believe that Stephanie has picked the right path for herself and it brings me satisfaction to feel that perhaps I've helped just a little bit.
I'm terribly exhausted from the tasks of the day, but "work", it was not.
