When the weather isn't great, I'll sometimes use Calgary's excellent raised walkway system (AKA Plus 15 System) as a workout replacement for walking in one of the parks. Although I didn't measure this with a GPS, the route I walked today was about 8 km's. I park in Chinatown, as there is free parking on the streets there, until 9 a.m. The images portray only a fragment of this system, and there are many other interesting buildings and sights.

Calgary has about 18 kilometers and counting of these raised walkways with 63 bridges (more being added yearly with new construction). This makes Calgary’s plus 15 system the largest of its kind in the world according to the City of Calgary.

Part of this group Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied sciences is conducting “AERPLUS 2K19” Exhibition from today 24th Oct 2019 at NCAAS Campus, Palakkad Road, Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore.

This exhibition is for +1 and +2 Students and will be on 24th and 25th October from morning “09:30AM – 02:30 PM“.

Day by day uses of airline services are increasing, and everyone wants to use these services; Airline business is growing, more new airlines are starting and Government polices are also encourages the air transportation services. Development in this field is enormous. We can remember few days back “Quanta’s Airline Aeroplane has flown 19 Hrs continuously non-stop from New York, America to Sydney, Australia “.

In this exhibition, the aircrafts Hawker HS 125A, King Air C-90, Cessna 150 aircraft, Enstrom F 28 helicopter, Grummen American AA-1 aircraft, Bell 47 G-5 helicopter, HT-2 aircraft which are in operational condition are being displayed.

Aircraft components, parts and rare pictures of aircrafts depicting various models and variants are also displayed.

Model Airport covering more than 5000 Sqft is attractive and worth seeing.

Quad copter flying during the exhibition also attracted the guests and students

Student Projects related to Aviation Maintenance are also displayed with explanations.

To add Joyce among the students a luck draw has been arranged, lucky student will have a chance to occupy pilot seat in aircraft and helicopter during Engine Run.

Entry is free for Students; they can participate in the events like elocution in Tamil and English. Aero Modeling, Drawing, and ‘Spell Bee’ competitions are also being conducted.

El HarrierII Plus es la más moderna versión de la gama de los Harrier II, y supone un notable avance en la familia de los aviones "short take off/vertical landing" (STO/VL= despegue corto/aterrizaje vertical) al incorporar el radar Hughes APG-65, ya que se trata de un moderno sistema de radar multimodo que permite operar a estas plataformas tanto de día como de noche.

Como planta de potencia incorpora el motor Rolls-Royce Pegasus II 408 de mayor fiabilidad y potencia que sus antecesores.

En cuanto a su armamento es un avión muy versátil con capacidad de cargar armas hasta un peso de 6.000 kg., para lo que dispone de 7 estaciones o soportes en los que se pueden situar diferentes combinaciones de armas, además de un cañón Gatling de 25 mm.

Al igual que sus predecesores, El Harrier II Plus puede operar desde cualquier superficie acondicionada en tierra o a bordo de buques, hasta superficies con un mínimo de acondicionamiento como el claro de un bosque, una playa, etc.
