I had a couple of free nights to roam D-town and ended-up with this classic perspective looking east.
The foreground shows one of Denver's original park locations dating back to the 1890s.

MAV 1047 009, Komaron (ligne Budapest - Gyor), 07 Août 2008.
Vu aux abords de Komaron, l'EC 62 Budapest Keleti pu - München Hbf fonce plein ouest derrière la 1047 009 des MAV, qui en assure la traction pour le parcours Hongrois et jusqu'à Wien. Ce train était à l'époque particulièrement apprécié des photographes, pour sa composition associant des voitures Grande Ligne des ÖBB à une voiture restaurant des MAV, cette dernière à peine visible sur cette photo en fin de convoi. Comme tous les trains de l'axe Budapest - Wien, il a été converti en rame RailJet quelques mois plus tard.
My parents were down visiting last week. You can see my father, Border Mac, below. The first shot is him in action and the other is him, the day before in Brighton, reviewing the pictures he'd just taken. I think he got some good ones - hopefully he'll post them soon!

How can this be 33 years old?! Certainly done well to survive this long, looks like it was getting used very sparingly until 2017/18, then it was off-road until 2020 since when the mileage has been going up more rapidly - it did nearly 11,000 miles between tests in January 2022 and 2023.

Je ne sais pas si vous voyez très bien le reflet de l'arc en ciel juste au dessus, mais si vous observez bien, les couleurs s'inversent comme dans un miroir. C'est la première fois que nous réalisons cela, Maïa et moi. Une jolie découverte.
