Female Wall Brown nectaring on Hawksbit.
The Wall Brown is having an enormous 3rd brood this year in Sussex with plenty of butterflies being seen even away from the South Downs.

PLENTY
Did I want too little
In the face of plenty
Did I turn cold
In a night on fire
Burn, for what you think
Drown, sink
Do you reach out
In a rage of empty
Do you invite me
In the light of fire
Burn, for what you dream
Tears, stream
Does time heal
In the quiet storm
Does snow fall
In the deepest lake
Burn, for the call of duty
Love, beauty
Don't toss and turn
In a desert bed
Don't think it ended
In the face of plenty
Burn, for eternity
Charcoal delight
Do what you must
In the opening door
Do what you will
In the opening wall
Burn the blame
In love, we are the same.

I have to tell you...I have plenty of such sunset - during my holidays - everyday I rode my bike up to the hill to see it. OK, part of the trail I walked next to my bike.. But still I was dead tired when I was gripping my camera (I often realized I left my place too late) but the view alwas rewarded me.
Last rain left plenty of snow on Andes Mountains close to Santiago. Winter at the Southern Hemisphere.

Santiago, Chile.
I've recently spent some time up in the Scottish Highlands. The focus of the trip was for animal I'll never tire of seeing; the Pine Marten.
The last few years have been focussed on the Black Isle. This year I spent my time in Ardnamurchan; a remote, wild and unspoilt peninsula on the west coast of Scotland near Fort William. I absolutely love it there despite the midges!
I got back earlier this week and have been working through a load of photos taken while I was there. So here's a first selection. You can expect plenty of Pine Marten photos to come! ;)
"Twenty is plenty" was a public campaign to bring the permissible speed in the centre of the village down from 30 to 20mph. It took some time until it really happened. Fuji X-E2.
