Max-Joseph-Platz is a square in the centre of Munich, named after King Maximilian I. Joseph, the first king of Bavaria.
The centre of the square features a statue of the king, the building behind is the Bayerisches Nationaltheater ("Bavarian National Theatre").

zu dem Zeitpunkt war der Zustand der Kolonie noch relativ okay, einige Tage danach, waren hunderte Vögel tot, sie sind an der Vogelpest gestorben :-(

Südtiroler Platz-Hauptbahnhof is a station on U1 of the Vienna U-Bahn. It is also served by lines S1, S2, S3, S60 and S80 of the Vienna S-Bahn.
It is located in the Favoriten District. It opened in 1978. This station serves Wien Hauptbahnhof, Vienna's main station which partially opened in 2012 and became fully operational in 2016, replacing Wien Südbahnhof.

Berlin Heidelberger Platz is a railway station in the Wilmersdorf district of Berlin.
The U-Bahn station opened on 12 October 1913 (architect Wilhelm Leitgebel).With its high groin vault it is one of the most brightly decorated of the Berlin network. The eponymous square was named after the city of Heidelberg.

Von einer leeren Brachfläche zum belebten Ausgehviertel: Das ist der Potsdamer Platz in Berlin.
Zwei Engel laufen über einen großen grauen Platz, eine riesige leere Ödnis mitten in der Stadt, nur eine Mauer steht im Nirgendwo. Hochhäuser ragen in den Himmel, geschäftiges Treiben überall, Menschen bummeln durch ein Shoppingcenter, gehen ins Kino und sitzen im Café. Wenn Sie den Film "Der Himmel über Berlin" von 1987 sehen und den heutigen Potsdamer Platz betrachten, dann können Sie sich bestimmt auch kaum vorstellen, dass es sich um ein und denselben Ort handelt.
Auf der einstigen Leerfläche, durchzogen von der Berliner Mauer, ist nach dem Mauerfall ein lebendiges neues Stadtviertel entstanden.

Two angels run across a large gray square, a huge empty wasteland in the middle of the city, only a wall stands nowhere. Skyscrapers soar into the sky, hustle and bustle everywhere, people stroll through a shopping center, go to the cinema and sit in a café. When you see the film "Der Himmel über Berlin" from 1987 and look at today's Potsdamer Platz, then you can hardly imagine that it is one and the same place.
After the fall of the Berlin Wall, a lively new city quarter was created on the former empty space, crossed by the Berlin Wall.

Der Strausberger Platz ist ein großer städtischer Platz im Berliner Ortsteil Friedrichshain und markiert die Grenze zum Bezirk Mitte. Germany, Weil der Stadt,
Die Bebauung von Marktplatz und Hauptstraßen ist, wie der gesamte staufische Stadtkern, vor allem durch den Wiederaufbau des 17. Jahrhunderts geprägt. Hier stehen die stattlichen Häuser der Stadt: dicht gereihte zwei- bis dreigeschossige meist giebelständige Fachwerkgebäude. Bestimmend für den Marktplatz sind das die östliche Schmalseite einnehmende reichsstädtische Rathaus (Marktplatz 4), das viergeschossige im Kern hochmittelalterliche Steinhaus (Marktplatz 14) sowie das in Ecklage zur Pforzheimer Straße stehende sog. Gallsche Haus (Marktplatz 16). Daneben wird der Marktplatz von zwei Renaissancebrunnen und dem in der Platzmitte stehenden Keplerdenkmal bestimmt.
An der südwestlichen Ecke des Marktplatzes stehender Laufbrunnen mit achteckigem, sandsteinernem Brunnentrog und balusterartigem, sandsteinernem Brunnenstock mit vier Auslassröhren. Auf dem Brunnenstock ein stehender Löwe mit Wappenschild mit Reichsadler. Der Brunnentrog inschriftlich datiert auf „H 1603 D“. Die Initialen stehen für Hans Decker, einen örtlichen Werkmeister. Die Löwenfigur bei Instandsetzungsarbeiten 1985/86 durch Kopie ersetzt.

The heyday of Potsdamer Platz was in the 1920s and 1930s. By this time it had developed into the busiest traffic center in all of Europe, and the heart of Berlin's nightlife. It had acquired an iconic status, on a par with Piccadilly Circus in London or Times Square in New York. It was a key location that helped to symbolise Berlin; it was known worldwide, and a legend grew up around it. It represented the geographical centre of the city, the meeting place of five of its busiest streets in a star-shaped intersection deemed the transport hub of the entire continent.
