All it is is a bit of moss in a flowerpot with an Acer tree growing there . However , looking really closely at the the little microworld one can see quite an intriguing scene . I would not like to name what the moss is , but it was still worth getting the shot ( even if it was a major exercise extricating myself out of the tiny corner I had got myself into to take the shot !! ) .

I enjoyed rolling around on the ground in the nearby woods earlier this week, photographing the beautiful lesser celandine punching through the leaf litter. I love the pose of this one, stretching up to catch the light filtering through the trees.

A close-up view of a budding flower captures the quiet anticipation of spring. The intricate textures and vivid green-purple hues highlight the delicate beauty of new growth just before it bursts into bloom.
Viola odorata white flowering form at Malshanger, Hampshire. Along the lanes and around the format Malshanger this form is seen in the hedgerows. Strange a white flower should have the name 'violet'. www.plantlife.org.uk/things_to_do/grow_wild/?ent=266
A quick hike through the backend of Maruyama park and you escape from the city. It's always rejuvenating to be surrounded by the sights and sounds of the forest.
..and December, January, February, March....lol....and sometimes part of April....but I will find delicate snow to capture...
