(006/366) Some of the fish in my Aquacube tropical aquarium. I can't get this song out of my head now 😂🐠 HMMM! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oyf2TXlJFvY
(024/365) This is my new aquarium in the counter in a corner of our kitchen. A few people had commented on my previous shot so I thought I'd show it in situ. We bought it at a garden centre in Wales when we were over visiting my parents last October. More info in this link if anyone is interested www.interpet.co.uk/Products/Aquariums/Aquariums/AquaCube-... It's a 28L cube, each side is 30cm long. Three bright LED lights are built into the lid & the filter fits onto the back wall. This also agitates & oxygenates the water.
I've set it up with a small heater to make it tropical. It's stocked with 7 Neon Tetras & 4 Guppies (1 male & 3 females). There appears to be more Tetras but that's a trick of the glass. The Guppies have had babies & more babies! Not sure what we're going to do with 40+ baby guppies, advertise them free to good home I guess or see if a local pet store will have them off me. We certainly can't keep them all in this small tank.
Bad idea choosing Guppies when there are no bigger fish to eat the dozens of tiny, live, offspring they produce each month. I kept a 180L tropical aquarium for 12 years at our old house, so I should have known better 😂 This is my first time with live plants & I'm quite pleased with how it looks.

A certain time of year, a certain time of day, the sun shines in on my 110 (gallon aquarium) and makes all the fish a little extra sparkly!

My fish tank was appallingly filthy, so I gave it a good cleaning today. I have promised the fish that I will do a better job of keeping their home clean and healthy.
