During this very panoramic and hilly walk you walk through meadows up to the hamlet of Kosberg. Then you walk through the forest to the hamlet of Landsrade. Then you walk through meadows towards Gulpen and then you arrive in the hamlet of Dal Bissen. The way back goes through meadows to the hamlet of Schweiberg and a nice path takes you back to Epen. This route often runs through meadows with beautiful views of the hills of South Limburg. There are plenty of benches along the way. At the end is a beautiful terrace. You can shorten the route to 7 km.
Tijdens deze zeer panoramische en heuvelachtige wandeling wandelt u door weilanden omhoog naar de buurtschap Kosberg. Dan loopt u verder door het bos naar het gehucht Landsrade. Vervolgens loopt u door weilanden richting Gulpen en dan komt u in de buurtschap Dal Bissen. De terugweg gaat door weilanden naar de buurtschap Schweiberg en via mooi pad komt u weer in Epen. Deze route loopt veel door weilanden met prachtige uitzichten op de heuvels van Zuid-Limburg. Er staan genoeg zitbanken onderweg. Aan het eind is een mooi terras. U kunt de route inkorten tot 7 km.

Chestnut Mountain Lodge in Galena, Illinois is a beautiful place to stop for a Fall Foliage shoot. Even though the day was very windy, the temperature was chilly to mild. Restaurant sitting was outside only, but the view was outstanding as you can tell by these photo images. I had my Canon with me and took many images with my different lenses. I have already posted those taken with my IPhone 11Pro. I will slowly be uploading pics from all my travels so stayed tuned, many more to come. In the summer, a small stream forms in a remote Arctic valley, fed by glacial snow melt. It nourishes a diverse community of arctic plants that make a colourful display of fall colours in the late summer. The nearby mountains can be seen reflected in the stream. NE Milne Land, Scoresby Sund, Greenland.

Backbone State Park Series:This past October, 2019, I traveled through Backbone State Park in Iowa. The foliage in the trees were outstanding with vibrant colors. The overcast, misty day just enhanced the colorful trees to show peak colors. Macro Photography is my forte' with bokeh often the backdrop/background of my images, however I do enjoy landscape photography when the setting is right.These images would make wonderful wallpaper on your laptop/computer. Jejudo is a volcanic island, so its beaches are composed of cooled lava. Lava cools down and becomes black, porous like a sponge and sharp. Walking around such a place is unrealistic, but it looks very unusual, like another planet.

Canyon de Chelly long served as a home for Navajo people before it was invaded by forces led by future New Mexico governor Lt. Antonio Narbona in 1805. In 1863, Col. Kit Carson sent troops through the canyon, killing 23 Indians, seizing 200 sheep, and destroying hogans, as well as peach orchards and other crops. The resulting demoralization led to the surrender of the Navajos and their removal to Bosque Redondo, New Mexico.

March 19, 2019 I embarked on a trip to Texas to visit my sister who lives in Victoria, Texas. We took a weekend to travel to Fredericksburg. On our way back we stopped at Wildseed Farms on March 24. The Farm was outstanding, flowers just beginning to bloom, fields of Texas BlueBonnets, gorgeous poppies intermixed plus other blooming plants. The fish pond was a perfect photo shoot. As a family, my daughter Alice, mom, Arlene, sister Kris, and myself tooled around the tri-state area to take in the beauty, shopping, wine tasting, and of course, dining. On this particular day, August 23, 2020 we went to the Galena Farmers Market in the Eagle Ridge Territory and stopped at the Highland Restaurant afterwards for a quick snack. Outside the Highland Restaurant where these beautiful flower gardens. Pulled out my IPhone 11 Pro and caught these images on my camera.
