Recebi amigos no FDS com um jantarzinho... a luz de velas e com várias frescurinhas deliciosas de se ver e apreciar... e o risoto não era azul! (piada interna!)
The first part of the scheme to reclaim some of the mud flats for building the roads: placing large boulders to prevent the waves washing it all away!

I bought a replacement keyboard for my laptop and it's unusable. Who needs the \ | key more than shift or return?
Pin the ears matching the front end to # 3 marking. They lay flat on the head and are basted into place.
They could have put it much higher, but someone decided that the optimal place for people to reach the toilet paper roll is 1 ft off the floor.
Our breakfast table from this year's trip to Boulder. Not much of a setup here… just liked the reflections off the counter.
I have turned into a sewing DIY this summer and my daughter made the plants creations in the jars :)

the 1978 dupont subway station on the toronto transit commission's line 1, is covered on all levels in small circular orange tiles, including the built-in concrete benches. did i mention that they're orange ?
the focal point at platform level are glass mosaic floral murals designed by artist james sutherland, the work is entitled ' spadina summer under all seasons '.
the only complaint i have is that the large mosaic's centre is interrupted by large concrete support pillars between the two platforms.
an obvious first world problem on my part.
Helpful tip from the brochure that came with our new cable modem.
Well, first of all, just NO. I am not going to put your stupid modem on, like, my coffee table or something.
Secondly, you only gave me a 4-foot cable. Where do you think we have cable jacks around the house?

This just cracked me up, and yes, the pun is most certainly intended. This morning, I was reading my most recent comments, and the placement of one comment on my beautiful mountain scene being right above "My One Gratuitous Butt Crack Shot" seemed hysterically funny to me.
I blocked out the contributor of the various comments on either picture, because this is not about trying to embarrass anyone about WHO they are, more just about WHAT was said. If anyone gets embarrassed here, it should be me.
Oh, and the order of the pictures with comments is based on the time the last comment or favorite came in. The mountain comment came in 10 minutes before the fave on the other one. I didn't have anything to do with manipulating it to be funny. It just was what is was.
The bottom picture (there I go again with a groaner pun) is the only one of its kind out of well over 24,000 photos I have on Flickr, so generally it is not my thing to post stuff like that. Neither photo is a click-able link from this screen shot.
