Piran ist eine Stadt im äußersten Südwesten Sloweniens an der Küste des Adriatischen Meeres. Mit ihrer Lage, ihrer Altstadt und venezianischen Architektur ist die Stadt an der Slowenischen Riviera eines der bekanntesten Touristenzentren Sloweniens.

Abendlicher Blick vom Hafen auf die Stadt und die alte Stadtmauer (im rechten oberen Bildbereich). Links im Bild die St. Georg-Kirche mit Glockenturm.
Preciosa ciudad bañada por el mar Adriático. Durante siglos perteneció a la República de Venecia, que dejó una impronta evidente en su arquitectura. Tras la Primera Guerra Mundial esta zona le fue asignada a Italia, posteriormente formó parte de Yugoslavia y, finalmente, en 1991 Eslovenia pasó a ser un país independiente.
Tartinijev trg (Tartini Square), the central place of Piran, and the Cathedral of Saint George with its spire (in the middle) in the blue hour. This place is named after Giuseppe Tartini, baroque composer and violinist who was born in Piran in 1692.
Picture is based on nine shots from tripod, moving persons like kids playing soccer were removed with "Neat Projects".

Das Bild basiert auf neun Aufnahmen mit Stativ, die sich bewegenden Personen, z.B. Ball spielende Kinder, wurden mit der Software "Neat Projects" entfernt.
Vista desde el campanario de Piran de la plaza Tartini, dedicada a este violinista y compositor barroco nacido en el siglo XVII en esta ciudad que por aquel entonces todavía pertenecía a la República de Venecia.

I did not check the ISO settings from the evening before, the reason for lower quality...

Hatte vergessen die ISO-Einstellung vom Vorabend wieder zu reduzieren, daher die schlechtere Qualität...
Vista desde las murallas de la bonita ciudad de Piran, donde se aprecian el alto campanario y la lengua de tierra que se adentra en el mar Adriático.

I know I've slightly over done this picture, but yeah... the happy colours of Piran waterfront houses make me smile!!:-) Hope you like it too.
