I think a good photo can provide an “access key” to a certain topic or situation, it makes us ask what, where, why, it awakens emotions, thoughts, memories of situations experienced and we want to know more.
At the same time, the careful reading of the image, its aesthetic/technical analysis can facilitate the understanding and memorization of concepts and events, ..... better if I stop here .....

This little guy is always difficult to photograph since he is usually running around or hiding up in a tree. When I was finally able to get a decent composition in the right light...he stuck his tongue out at me! LOL! Asian Passage - San Diego Zoo. Taken 5/6/2021.
Excerpt from the San Diego Zoo website, "Although red pandas like to eat bamboo and live in China’s bamboo forests with giant pandas, don’t let their name fool you. Formerly known as lesser pandas, DNA studies show that red pandas represent a unique family that diverged from the rest of the carnivore order, so they are now placed in their own unique family: Ailuridae. The Chinese name for the red panda is hun-ho, meaning fire fox. The red panda’s reddish coat and white face mask offer camouflage among the red moss and white lichen that cover the trees of its bamboo forest home."

I sometimes distress the pages with brown inks, to make them look aged - but I accidently overdid these pages and did’nt want to use them for my case files. Instead I drew a pattern which I spotted on Pinterest, to simply cover the pages with something and so that I can carry on to a fresh new page spread. I thought of pause music, but imagine these pages to be a visual pause instead.
I took this shot after 10pm of Halnaker Windmill near Chichester (which can be seen in the bottom left, causing the light pollution). This is actually a composite of 50 30sec exposures combined using Startrails.de to produce a 25min exposure. This is the first time I have used a higher ISO setting to capture star trails, and I was quite impressed with the shot. The only thing out of place was the fence around the base of the windmill!
