To my surprise we had two unexpected visitors today. Two, probably young, squirrels had discovered the bird feeder full of nuts. I decided to offer them an easier target, which they instantly accepted. In the shade of the tree, and with very dull lighting, I couldn't get a better shot than this.
The storage room is at least 45 feet away under the chestnut tree.
Sorry have been away yesterday (Friday) back tomorrow.
Assortment of snack at Sportstad Café
Lighting setup comprised of two Yongnuo YN-600EX-RT's on falcon eyes stands, both modified with shoot-through umbrella's. I placed them at the viewers 10 and 2 o' clock. For a trigger I used a Yongnuo YN-E3-RT wireless remote. Lens was a Samyang 35mm.
This is a big "Pinda", it's in ice cold water year round.
The three pillars aroundi t have fallen and only one is left......dont know till when will it last.

"The legend goes that the four pillars represent the four yugas, i.e., Satya yug, Treta yug, dwapar yug and Kaliyug. The three fallen pillars represent the three yugas that have passed. The remaining pillar will last till the Kalyug. No idea what will happen after that. This is just an ideology and a belief, people will have completely different views and ideas.

Hereby an introduction of my youngest creation; small Pin-Da Peanut Faeries 45mm Micro BJD. I chose this name because I think this is a nice and suitable name. You might think that there is another meaning attached to it, but I certainly didn't mean that in this case!
In the second instance, I started to think further about this fueled by the fuss about the magazine 'PINDA'.
The word peanut has a nasty association for a number of Indo-Dutch 'Indos' because it used to be used by white fellow Dutch as a swear word. Then two more words followed. For yet another group of Indos, it has become a geuzennaam. After much consideration, I have chosen to use this name, albeit with a small play on words. It is about naming my own fantasy creatures and it has no further nasty intentions.
PS By the way, I had started making my Pin-Da faerie much earlier before I even knew that such a magazine would appear with this name.

Het kost me elke week een zakvol pinda's, maar dat verdient zich terug. Dagelijks komen de Eekhoorns op bezoek. Net als mensen hebben zij ook last van teken. Net achter zijn (haar) oog zie je een teek zitten. En let eens op die mooie, witte nagetjes. Door al dat gewroet in de tuin zijn die van mij lang niet zo mooi! Camping de Meibeek, Ruurlo (Gld).
