This is photo of the "Pimple" in Tavistock. Named that for obvious reasons. We went here today to scatter Kirsty's Gran's ashes. It was so windy, but everything went well. In the afternoon we did so much work and in the evening we chilled and had a nice bit of home made pavlova from my mum! It was "Clidgy!"
Young male Western Bluebird - a few weeks out of the nest. The equivalent of a pimple-faced teenager.

The "pimple" of Twm Barlwm. There are various fanciful legends about this old Iron Age fort; it is haunted, ethereal music plays mysteriously in the air, there is a secret tunnel from Twm Barlwm to Llantarnam Abbey, a giant, guarded by bees is buried there... It is believed to have been a fort occupied by the local Silures, then a Roman beacon post, with a Norman motte and bailey being later built there. Today it is a popular walking and mountain biking destination.
