I drew this background for Emma's laptop this morning using Illustrator. I got her sucked into my Pokemon mood, so I think this might increase that. We were supposed to go to Toronto Island today, but I kinda want to just sit at home with her and play pokemon :| haha
It's not a photo of the highest quality in terms of technique, but it was taken within seconds of seeing this motorcyclist. I had my camera in my bag so there was really little time. However, since, in my opinion, both in terms of execution and topic, it reflects what I understand by street photography, I dare to show it to you.

Yeah the quote isn't very original but whatever, here I have another Nintendo figure which is, do I even need to introduce this character? It's friggin Pikachu!
Made from a LEGO board game microfigure (Thanks JCBrick42 for the trade!) I was able to sculpt onto and then paint all over this thing to make the iconic yellow mascot. The tail is made of plastic (mainly from an Amiibo plastic box). I wanted to make an accessory so I made a Pokeball which is painted on top of a round ball from the Gaurdians of the Galaxy sets. This will be one of the entries to Afreakoflego's contest.

Day 161 - Ash and Pikachu - I made these for a friend, and I think they turned out really well. I made the Pokemon Ash figure where I hand-painted the torso, arms, hat, head, and "shoes," as well as the pokeball (which uses a BrickArms grenade - I"m really happy with how that came out). I did want to make a Pikachu for Ash, and played around with a couple ideas. If I had to do it over again, I would get rid of the 1x1 round stud between the minifigure head and the BrickArms grenade (used as the head), but overall, I'm really happy with how they came out.

This spider has recently come to be known as the "Pikachu spider" for its resemblance to the character. Studies have shown that the bright yellow color aids in attracting prey, while the spikes make it unpalatable to predators. Who would want to swallow that??
