The past weekend we were at "Messer Tulipano" held annually, when flowering tulips, at Castle of Pralormo. Countess opens to the public the gardens of his house (paying the ticket) and prepares the park with flowers of tulips, an organic market and thematic exhibitions. Each year in the barn there is an exhibition themed "5 senses" ... This year was the turn of view, the next one will be touch turn. The greenhouse is set up similarly, the theme was "butterflies" (I added a pair in origami...)...
What I like in the setting of the park is that the countess being economically a prudent woman, tends to pay the costs ( ;-P ) and then use much her brain (in effect as a job, she organizes trade events and weddings and has lot of experience) ... however, the entire park transforms into a series of surprise ... where everything looks normal, but at a careful glance you will find a fairy who comes out from a trunk ... a house for birds in the trees, a bird that seems real but is fake ... But they are all things simple that with a little fantasy you can do at home ... I like all this ... returned home I placed a plum tree house for the birds on the plum tree.
My dream is to see the castle Oriland prepared in this greenhouse, would be the ideal setting and environment... it is really a fairy tale ... I do not know her personally but if knew the countess I would suggest her to do it!
This is a castle in the country, but quite nice and the show is very popular, there is always a long queue to get in.
The season is late this year, so the tulips were not blooming yet but we were given a free ticket to return ... we might go again...
