Lifetime Dream # 26 of my list of 155: I will have a deep financial portfolio. I will have a portion of my portfolio designed to pay dividends so I can have a continual flow of income with which to live on. I will have another portion set up to grow over time. I will have a diversified portfolio in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate, and securities, and I will have a financial advisor monitor and maintain my portfolio so I do not have to spend my time working my empire.

I have been through the money woes in my past, and there is no drop of intention to remain in the workforce when I am late in my years. I have no intentions of being a late-aged Wal-Mart greeter; not because there’s something wrong with that, but because I’d prefer to be the oldest fart on the beach with Pina Coladas instead!

I've been wanting to pie-chart the minutia of my life ever since seeing Miss Moxie's chart of her movie collection. I didn't cute up my chart, though. First effort.

I pulled all the marshmallows out of a 16 oz. box of Lucky Charms (made in Lodi, yaay!) - not surprised there are so many shooting stars since it was featured on the front of the box...

Using the letters ‘A’ and ‘B’ to denote the start and finish points of where Twin Primes could occur, we can show the possible path of all Prime gaps as being either ‘A’ or ‘B’. By showing these in a doughnut chart we can compare the ratio of the four groups. Interesting there is more or less an even distribution of Prime numbers which take up the ‘A’ or ‘B’ position. However, as soon as we start to look at the subsequent Prime number position we see a definite alternating pattern, so a Prime in the ‘A’ position is more likely to be followed by a Prime in the ‘B’ position and vice versa. It is less likely for chains of AA or BB to appear. At first this may seem to contradict what is known about the frequency of Prime gaps. We know that 6 is the most frequent Prime gap but this gap size belongs to the smaller AA and BB groups. However, as they share the same gap sizes, we have to combine the two groups to get the correct frequency. AB and BA groups are approximately 30% each, but the AA and BB group combined are 40% of all Prime gaps, making them the largest group, which may help to explain why 6 is the most frequent Prime gap size.

Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations (TACIR) tracks infrastructure projects across the state. I thought it would be fun to display some data from their reports. Referenced tables can be found here:

If you're really into infrastructure, TACIR drills down into the data and produces a number of reports that can be found here:
