In Florida, I do not find fresh sour cherries, so I had to order online Fresh Frozen Sour Cherries, which were excellent.
When my friend was here from Chicago, she got this big craving for a cherry pie. My favorite place was out of cherry pies so we went to the Wimberley Pie factory. They had this fake cherry pie with the fly on it..;) I thought it was pretty funny and wanted to share it with you.
My hubby was very pleased with this week's theme as lemon meringue pie is his favourite, but it's not served very often ;)
Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I was rather sad to learn that Hancocks butchers in Stoney Middleton is to close for good this Saturday. The farmshop has been run by six generations of the same family since they first opened n 1829. So no more of their delicious award-winning pork pies unfortunately.
I cleaned out my freezer over the weekend and found that we had purchased this pie quite some time ago. Rather than just toss it, I decided to bake it and practice some food photography with it. Hopefully it looks delicious. Now I must get busy with necessary tasks.
Small pie with spinach, cheese and dried tomatoes from our local bakery. Very tasty! :)

Pendant le confinement, j'en profite pour regarder autour de moi, dans le jardin ! Chaque jour ou presque, je photographie un nouvel oiseau !
