As a kid I loved pouring through books with black and white photos from the 50's and 60's. I could feel what is was like to have lived back then and in someone else's shoes.
This book is certainly Old and Aged which is the theme for the group "We're Here"

WANNABE WARMER WEDNESDAY #4
Where I live it's been an exceptionally mild winter. A bit of snow, a bit of icing, a few below zero nights. Can't really complain. We still have a ways to go so ..... I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
This is the second year that I have completed the 100 pictures scavenger hunt. I remember that last year I was scrambling in the last couple of days to finish ... this year I couldn't wait to finish ... thank you to all those who supported this endeavour along the way ...

so, I just found out today that my school that I'm going to has restricted Flickr. ='( so I will try to upload new pictures when I go into town or something, but I just wanted to let you all know. sorry!! I will miss looking at everyone's pictures terribly! BUT I do have a facebook, and a facebook "like" page, so you can keep up with me here..... hope to catch up on your pictures soon!!

I realize that this is unlike my usual stuff, but that's one of the things I love about photography. I can use it to express emotion whenever I want, whatever kind of emotion and atmosphere it is I'm feeling.
I leave tomorrow! for the rest of my life. it's a bittersweet goodbye, but mostly bitter at this point. I'm going to miss all my great friends, and the gorgeous scenery, and my sanctuary, my bedroom.

Went out last Saturday morning with a few mates to shoot this lone tree on a hill, just outside of Picton.
I've been wanting to try something new for quite a while, and this scene has given me the opportunity to have a go.
This may not be everyones cup of tea, and I get that.
