There are many here on flickr. Many of us are bound deeply to our pets, and studies show that is a healing thing. I suppose all of our pet pictures are efforts to show, or even explain our bonds, yet no explanation really serves. Love across species barriers reveals a bit of nature’s soul.

These little ones were captured a week ago also, but the TransMontana of MMV ( flic.kr/p/2pDz1CE ) deserved to be released earlier. I watched these little flowers every morning while going to work, and hoped they will survive the week without wounds. On the end of the week they looked well enough for some bokeh pictures.

I've been spending quite a bit of time, over the past months, looking closely at the weathered outcrops of rock around the coasts of Scotland. In this short series, I've posted a few of the photos I've taken of some of the 'designs' that caught my eye on sedimentary rocks. I hope you enjoy looking at them, in all their graininess.
Next time I want to figure a way of HINGING the top. Right now it is removable. ( lays on top unsecured)

109/122 pictures in 2022: unwind
Phew, just in time on the last day of 2022. I didn't think I was going to make it, the last few weeks have been crazy and I haven't had any time to myself to play with my camera at home or even to look at what everyone else has been up to on Flickr. So apologies for my neglect, will try and catch up this weekend, unwind properly and hopefully I will be ready to start next year's challenges.
