The Canon EOS 5D Mark II EF 24-105/4L IS USM was my workhorse until I got the Nikon D800 & D800E with the 70-200 mm 2.8 VR2 zoom.
Canon, Nikon, you can't go wrong with the pretty 45surf model goddesses! (Though the D800 is my new love.)

Was testing the Sony HVL-F60M External Flash on the Sony A7r. You can see it going off in some of the photos (check the exif if in doubt)--worked great, but it overheated a bit sooner than my Nikon flash on the D800E. But it's all good!

Another shot which demonstrates the concert photography potential of a good digital compact like (in this case) a Canon Powershot G9.
This is the lead singer with 'We Are The Physics' who were the support band for Franz Ferdinand at The Picture House in Edinburgh, earlier this year. On a purely statistical basis, he is probably called Michael....since three of the four band members have that name. :-)

One of my viewers was kind enough to explain this beast of a gadget with one of the previous images. Click here if you're interested. (I used to be crap at physics in secondary school... So much so that when I did once manage to get a good grade on a test, the teacher even wrote a comment on my paper saying 'you might turn into a physics expert one day!')
I noticed Teylers Museum is very active on Twitter, which I am too after finding out it is a great source of real life information! They have also found my images of my visit to the museum. Modern technology can be so cool ;-)
