"The English Ladye and the Scottish Knight" - Loreena McKennitt

Thank you very much for your comments and faves, regretfully, I am finding it increasingly difficult to reply to your comments, because of my very limited time on the internet, due to constant power interruptions in South Africa. I do read and appreciate every one of them! Thanks again!!

My fav thoughtful Goby meets one of my most spectacular flying flat worms :)

Just discovered these filters in Photoshop. Brilliant way of making modern art. This was originally a group of walkers waiting to set off.

Fur and Feathers 2019

I couldn't let Sunday pass without sharing the fun with Photoshop's Generative Fill I had today. I used Generative Fill to dismiss several logs on the right side of the basalt cliff where the falls drop, added some interest to the foreground water and as the coup de grace, added two figures jumping into the falls on the left. Generative fill works pretty well for inanimate objects but it's ability to do people is a spectacular failure! Those people are pretty scary; they're good for Halloween decor. They are too large as well as the falls drop is 43 feet.

I was inspired to add the jumpers because I read this fall is popular on social media as a place to film your friends jumping into the plunge pool. If you are curious about the number of logs removed, go look at the photo I posted looking down at the falls, three frames back.

Happy Slider Sunday!

Tonemapped in Photomatix from 1 raw, then heavily curved in Photoshop.

This image generated in PS CC using render trees and flame on various layers. Then with an oil painting finish. No photographs were used in its construction.

And a nod to my Flickr friend JH from whom I took some inspiration with his recent photo "Behind the tree line"

Sometimes when I'm feelin' down or just want to "escape" for a while (aka waste time) I like to fool around with Photoshop. This is the result from one of those times.

Chitwood Bridge

Lincoln County, Oregon

I took this old B&W image, that I shot with an 8x10 camera back in the mid-90s, and ran it through some Photoshop. I cropped it and straightened it, and then used the Neural Colorizing filter.

Chitwood covered bridge is still there, I shot it not too long ago, but the old building has been gone for at least twenty years.
