Here is a night shot of Tacoma, WA's downtown area, including the LeMay Auto Museum. The headlight streaks across the bottom are from I-5. Talk about a million ways to make this composition..... I finally settled on this version anyway and called it a night.....:) Thank you for your kind visits and wishing everyone a Very Happy New Year in 2015!!!

Just got the Photomatix 6 upgrade. Love the more realistic results, especially the improvements in the sky.

Couldn't resist a hue shift.

I went to the fields to take some pictures as the sky looked promising, but I didn't find nice clouds... I found a gorgeous red tractor !!! :D

This kind farmer stopped the tractor for me to take the picture... I'll give him a print.. :) I hope after this he is not driving the tractor over my car.... :S

About the treatment... Well, I've been working with this treatment in some other pictures and I love it... It looks to me as if it came out of those cartoons in the newspaper .. :)

Hope you find it interesting :D

P.s..... Oh yes, I will continue taking nature and flower pictures... ;) but at the moment I am in a rash of creativity .... ;)

Taken in Union or Washington, Missouri...or somewhere in between. I can't remember.

EDIT: It was taken in St. Clair, Missouri.

Three exposures. Processed in Photomatix and Photoshop CS3.
