The blue flowers unfurl their petals, adorned with glistening raindrops after a spring shower. Their vibrant blue hues and almost black centers bring a cheerful touch to the garden in the United Kingdom.

I was driving back home last Friday when I saw a glimpse of a big red-orange sun on my rearview mirror.
It was fascinating and scary at the same time coz the next day we had an alert for evacuation but got disregarded, apparently, due to "technical error"...
Yet still the air we are breathing right now is polluted :(

Une série avec Eva pour un tour progressif vers les paysages et l'architecture.
Le jardin du Luxembourg est un jardin ouvert au public, situé dans le 6e arrondissement de Paris. Créé en 1612 à la demande de Marie de Médicis pour accompagner le palais du Luxembourg, il a fait l'objet d'une restauration dirigée par l'architecte Jean-François-Thérèse Chalgrin sous le Premier Empire et appartient désormais au domaine du Sénat. Il s'étend sur 23 hectares (21 ouverts au public) agrémentés de parterres de fleurs et de sculptures.
En 2022, selon un palmarès du site anglophone HouseFresh qui a agrégé les avis de dizaine de milliers de touristes, il est désigné comme étant le plus beau jardin d'Europe et troisième plus beau jardin du monde, derrière le Gardens by the Bay de Singapour et le jardin Majorelle de Marrakech.

I've always wondered why I see buses in the U.S.A (especially in Seattle) with 2 poles that are attached to parallel overhead wires. Apparently, they are called trolleybuses because they combine the mobility of a bus with the electric power of a trolley system.
Seattle’s trolleybus system is a rubber-tired electric bus network that runs on parallel overhead catenary wires connected directly to the electrical grid. They have no rails. They draw power from overhead wires via poles mounted on the bus, allowing them to navigate the city’s steep hills and narrow streets more flexibly.
I am born and raised in a gas driven country which is probably why I've always had the notion that EVs are a product of modern generation to combat air pollution. However, I just learned that Seattle’s trolley network has been operating continuously for around 85 years. In fact, the trolleybus dates back to 29 April 1882, when Dr. Ernst Werner Siemens demonstrated his "Elektromote" in Berlin (Germany).
In recent years, as Metro has grappled with an ambitious goal handed down from the King County Council to fully electrify its fleet by 2035, trolleybuses have taken a backseat to battery-electric buses that are expected to be more versatile.
This photo shows battery-electric buses, EV cars, and trolleybuses driving up and down the streets of Seattle as we patiently wait at a bus stop :)
