My #cat (Thunder), as always, seems so excited to go outside today.

He does not stop "meowing" at me until I let him out :)

It appears, he saw a new visitor out the window - a common #deer here at my uncle's home.

I was #gardening this morning when I saw these little gems growing in our neighbor's front yard. No one is living there anymore...so, help myself to take some photos ;)

This is a part of my "The Price of Love" series which is basically a "study" of my mother when she was still alive...she was my muse.

I'm a photographer who finds endless inspiration in the beauty of nature and the wonders of wildlife. Through my lens, I aim to capture not just images, but moments of mindful connection with the natural world. Join me as I explore the intricate details and breathtaking landscapes that surround us, one frame at a time. 🌿 I used my Nikon D800 (one of my older cameras but with an incredible pixel capture) and a Nikon 35mm lens. Manual settings.

I was walking around the Don Jose LRT station yesterday when I saw an alley full of vendors selling "tikoy"- then I realized Chinese New Year is coming :D

So, I follow the path of the vendors until I saw this fountain in front of China Town :)

(Tikoy (Nian gao), sometimes translated as year cake or Chinese New Year's cake, is a food prepared from glutinous rice flour and consumed in Chinese cuisine. While it can be eaten all year round, traditionally it is most popular during Chinese New Year)

This species of #colorful #birds is known to be monogamous and breeding pairs often maintain long-lasting bonds.

Male birds are known to initiate the breeding process by feeding female birds. If the courtship is successful, the breeding pairs begin to build a nest together with twigs, roots, sticks, and leaves and work to maintain their territory. This nest is often flat and round in shape and it is located on a shrub or on a tree in forests.

If the reproduction process is successful, about two to three eggs are known to be laid by the female. Both parents take turns to incubate the eggs.

Chicks are born vulnerable and are dependent on adults for feeding. These birds fledge at about four weeks old and live with their parents until they are fully independent.
