I was thrilled to have captured this Forster's Tern in flight (bif not being my forte) and I like the fact that a person is included in the frame. It puts the bird in context and shows how they both share the same space. This picture was taken early in the morning in Daytona Beach, Florida, last February.

Sylvie Pierrat, 58 ans, auteure photographe dans les Vosges depuis 2020, mais la photographie l’accompagne au quotidien depuis 20 ans maintenant.
C’est en parcourant la nature, essentiellement montagnes et forêts de sa région, qu’elle s’exprime le plus souvent ; c’est dans cette photographie de paysages qu’elle se retrouve le mieux. Toutefois, elle adore raconter des histoires et l’humain est souvent présent dans ses images. Dans la nature, il en souligne les merveilles, l’immensité, et dans la ville, il lui donne vie, tout en la façonnant.
Elle a exposé à de nombreuses reprises lors de rencontres nature dans sa région, autour de l’arbre et des paysages. Avec cette série autour de Mary Poppins, elle s’est ouvert les portes de festivals des arts plus généralistes, dans lesquels elle a pu laisser libre court à sa créativité, tout en faisant la part belle aux paysages.
Sylvie Pierrat, 58 years old, author photographer in the Vosges since 2020, but photography has accompanied her daily life for 20 years now.
It is by traveling through nature, mainly mountains and forests in her region, that she expresses herself most often; it is in this landscape photography that she finds herself best. However, she loves telling stories and humans are often present in her images. In nature, he highlights its wonders, its immensity, and in the city, he gives it life, while shaping it.
She has exhibited many times during nature meetings in her region, around the tree and landscapes. With this series around Mary Poppins, she opened the doors to more general arts festivals, in which she was able to give free rein to her creativity, while giving pride of place to landscapes.
