This little fella was kind enough to pose for me with a clear bokeh behind him.

Of the photog who decided to cross the stream with his $30,000 worth of camera equipment. Back in 2015, a juvenile Bald Eagle showed up by the shores of Lake Ontario. The Eagle stayed at the location for more than two months, providing ample close-up views and photographing opportunities to hundreds of people. The stream meets Lake Ontario and the presence of Salmon in the stream most likely brought the Eagle in the first place. There's more to this photo than what meets the eye, but that remains untold for now. Ajax, Ontario.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Mt Field impressed us hugely. We only had a day there (a week would be better) but we saw few of the falls and wandered through the moss-laden forests with eyes popping. This is Horseshoe Falls - before the scrum arrived.

Ai assisted using a Christmas tree image I made at the mall (www.flickr.com/photos/181747334@N06/shares/BUK66365y0)and my "poem".

I had my sensor cleaned about a week ago and didn't realize until editing today that the camera had reverted to default settings so sadly I have been shooting low quality jpg's instead of RAW. I totally understand now why I have been so frustrated and my image quality has been off after editing. Fixed for tomorrow but for today I have to just deal with it, pull up my big girl pants and move on.

Note to self, always check your camera settings, battery and memory card before heading out the door.

Finally spent some time at Mono Lake last weekend. I was intending to shoot fall color this trip, but ended up spending more time with fresh show than fallen leaves!

I guess the south tufa area is pretty popular with photographers. I showed up a tad late the first morning, and there were at least 30 other photographers roaming around the shore. I didn't witness any altercations, but it wasn't exactly an environment that got your creative juices flowing.

The rest of the trip I car camped with some other photographers and did some hiking in the fresh snow. More images to come.

Went on a photo fun walk with several of the Dea Miones local photographers.

Went to Assateague National Seashore at Chincoteague Va. to shoot some sunrise scenes. Met this lady in the same area. She is a wunderlust with a photographry passion and we struck up a conversation (at social distance I might add). Shot this profile image of her for her social media.
