I love the reflections in the droplet.
My plant has had water? dripping off the end of the flower lately. I changed the colors slightly, and I don't remember what else.
This shot was taken way before I had my first SLR, my P&S Nikon Coolpix P1500 did it all, now it's a dead gadget. It took beautiful shots in the past which I sometimes find across my mixed archives . This one was exceedingly sharpened which shows more grainy texture, not looking nice when enlarged. But still a good reminder of a lovely walk in the woods .

I was only assuming they're father and child busking ,could be different . Both did too well, the child was fantastic ! Having my work to do with children , their rights and interests ,some thoughts had set in ,whether this activity is just for fun or as form of child labour with subtle abuse in play ( a child compelled to do busking with his flute ? ) .It made me wonder whether this child was given a choice or his choice listened to . Busking and children doesn't go together IMHO. In the long picture a child would feel isolated , seen as different character and alienated from his peer group ,self esteem could potentially plummet ,made me wonder of the life behind this scene.
As a lover of Stephen King films , I call this one The Mist , after one of his films . I liked it but the ending as you can predict in most S.kIngs novels / films are either unhappy if not disastrous . I wish it could have a positive conclusion ,however that would make the story line so predictable and same as normal ones having the " the living happily ever after ending " ,perhaps having an its oddness ticks in the depths of our memories .

Commentary: As a former user of PS Elements 7, there are some improvements here. My hardware is a 10-inch Asus Netbook with memory expanded to 2GB. Mobility is important to me.
PS Elements 8 works well; it is 925MB on your hard disk. Smaller editing programs
are faster.
Not bad when the boss condones long breaks updating with the gossips (only my guess ) , women are they ? lols

Just some quick photos I took using a Sony DSC-HX100V in my front and back yard and down my street to my right and left and also caught our cat sunning under the kitchen table..no post editing and used a program called Photomatix Pro (free trial download) to edit and create these effects...most PAINTERLY effect in various forms..natural...netural and surreal...very simple and easy to use in my opinion and just ordered disk from Amazon as hate on-line downloads of software..$99 US

The version of Aviary that flickr provides does not allow for small increments of rotation: its 90 degrees or nothing. I used to use picnik quite a lot for straightening. It can be done in GIMP but then you have to go through a whole rigmarole of export - and then finding the finished image using iPhoto or even Finder is next to impossible. I have also never managed to sort out more advanced techniques - which do not apply to this image - as GIMP's learning curve is not just steep, it's not at all intuitive.
By the way, I have now found a straighten tool in iPhoto. Who knew?
I have been wanting to stop using Photoshop because it's so very bloated. Pixelmator seems like the only software that is good enough to replace it for me.
