My first attempt at a photo challenge! The theme is vegetables. Don't quite know how this works but we'll find out! Here's to those shrivelled carrots!
Had a shopping day today with not much opportunity to take a picture, so for today I'm sharing a picture of the sunrise from the back garden which I took last weekend.
First day back at work after all the ups and downs of the last couple of weeks and I'm knackered.
I've chosen to post another black and white picture, this time of a tree. I captured this a couple of weeks ago during a walk. I love the look of winter trees in black and white, love the atmosphere and dramatic effect.
So apparently it's National Nature Photography Day today.
Here is my contribution... A black and white picture of the sun beating down on the grass.

Day 9 challenge is another cheat day I'm afraid. Between work and a headache, just didn't get a chance for a photo opportunity today.
Posting one from last week instead and still from 2023 so still counts 😜

2017 Photochallenge, week 4: Rule of Thirds/Toys and Games
While the blocks are centered, I felt the two towers and the base followed the rule of thirds. Is this a correct application of the rule of thirds?
Building blocks kept at our home to entertain grandchildren, when they visit.
