It was a frosty, sunny and very foggy morning when this photo was shot from a moving car on Interstate 96 in Michigan and, no, I was not driving :) Processed with Google's Nik Collection, which is a free download right now.

This is The Tridge, a three arm wooden bridge spanning the confluence of the Chippewa and Tittabawasee Rivers in Midland, Michigan.
We are in the Midland once every year and, unfortunately, the bridge was closed to foot traffic as repairs were being made after major flooding just several weeks ago. There were still huge piles of household goods lined up on streets from severe flooding into people's homes. If you enlarge the photo, you can see the water line in the form of mud still clinging to the brush, the grayish vegetation on the other side of the bridge. I was fortunate to have a calmer day than last year and was able to get a better reflection.
There is a wonderful bike path that runs along the Tittabawasee River. Maybe next year, we can rent a couple of bikes and check it out :)
