Pat's King of Steaks (also known as Pat's Steaks) is a Philadelphia restaurant specializing in cheesesteaks, and located at the intersection of South 9th Street, Wharton Street and East Passyunk Avenue in South Philadelphia, directly across the street from rival Geno's Steaks. It was founded in 1930 by brothers Pat and Harry Olivieri, who are credited with the creation of the cheesesteak.

One of the many iconic food establishments in the City of Brotherly Love.

This afternoon I was driving through Rosemount Minnesota when I suddenly had the biggest craving ever for a good cheesesteak. So I stopped in at TOPS (Acronym for Try Our Philly Steak)

 

I ended up ordering a 9 inch The Works. This Cheesesteak is topped with onions, peppers, mushrooms and pepperoni.

 

I also took advantage of the beer special. A 12 ounce can of Indeed Brewing Midnight Ryder Black IPA for $2

Geno's Steaks, iconic Philly Cheeseteak place in south Philly on Passyunk Ave, right across from the famous, Pat's steaks.
