Finally got my hands on a few '12 sets and I just couldn't leave stock alone! Here's Rex, a little more accurate, with MMCB's phase II Rex cloth set & an added range finder (yes, drilled in, not glued!). Not too bad lookin. I know the new helmets are a love/hate debate lately, but I kinda like'em.

At the Paprihaven observatory, super-hero Hardcase spots Godzilla Force agent Margaret O'Brien. He decides to strike up a conversation and maybe impress her.
"Wow, there are all the moon phases. There's the Waxing Gibbous."
"A waxen gibbus!? They think the moon is made out of wax?? And what's a gibbus, anyway?"
"Oh! Um... it's just one of the moon phases. I mean, you're an astronaut or something like that, right?"
"No. Why would you think that? And what's all this about waxing and gibbuses??"
Hardcase suddenly regretted starting the conversation.
"I saw your armor... it looked spacey."
"Spacey!? I'm with the Godzilla Force! We fight Godzilla!"
"Oh... yeah, cool. Anyway, good to see you."
"Do you really think the moon is made of wax??"
"Nope."

Amtrak 406, the Phase III NPCU, leads a Hiawatha east past the new signals at A-20 in Northbrook, IL.

After taking a Northwest Regional to Newport News earlier in the day, Amtrak 161 leads P124 back up the RF&P to Washington, DC. I was able to pull off a brief pan shot of their train crossing Neabso Creek thanks to the smoky golden hour providing an abnormally subdued light.
