Crocus tommasinianus, the woodland crocus, early crocus, or Tommasini's crocus, is a flower named after the botanist Muzio G. Spirito de Tommasini (1794-1879). It is native to Bulgaria, Hungary, Albania, and the former Yugoslavia. It is often referred to as the early or snow crocus, but these terms are shared with several other species, although C. tommasinianus is amongst the first to bloom. Multiple plants are often called tommies in the horticultural trade.
It is a cormous perennial of the genus Crocus in the family Iridaceae with a lilac flower, and is one of the smaller of the cultivated species. It has slender flowers about 2–4 cm (1–2 in) long, with white perianth tubes, petals (6) pale silvery lilac to reddish purple, while the outer petals may be overlaid with silver and darker tips. A variant, C. tommasinianus f. albus, is white. Its cultivars are used as ornamental plants. Height: 3 in (76 mm)

ESPARSETTE (Onobrychis)
Ordnung ist das halbe Leben, der Rest ist Improvisation, sagt ein Sprichwort.
Aber William Shakespeare widerspricht: "... der Rest ist Schweigen".
Doch bei der ESPARSETTE ist es ganz anders. Denn die Hälfte ist zwar verblüht, aber der Rest erstrahlt noch immer.

Color does not exist, but is created in our brains. In order to see color we need light, an object and our eyes. Color arises in the presence of light. Whenever light falls on an object, some of the rays are reflected by the object and the remainder is absorbed. The part that is reflected, determines the color.
Our eyes cannot perceive the light that is absorbed by an object. An apple, for example, absorbs all colors, except green. Because the green is reflected and is captured by our eyes, we see the green color of the apple.
The most ideal light for seeing color is diffuse daylight, when the sun is more or less behind the clouds and it is slightly rainy. This produces the most truthful colors.
