Been outdoors for some shooting and stumbled across this litlle blossom. I took a closup image and the light behind the blossom did the job very well. I`ve been once again impressed about the nature of mother earth!

Unfolding blossom of a Zebra mallow / Garten-Malve 'Zebrina' (Malva sylvestris 'Zebrina')

What would spring be without my willows catkins. At least one picture of them is always a must.
Unfortunately I had to cut down most of the tree last year as it was quite old and the snow had pushed it apart and broken off large parts of it. But last year, new shoots grew from the roots, which are now almost 3 meters high and, as you can see, will bloom again.
I photographed this one yesterday. After a heavy rain shower, the sun came out briefly in the afternoon and made this picture possible. Since I was shooting freehand and had to hold the camera above my head (the flowers are more than two meters high), focus stacking wasn't possible. So I had to work with a closed aperture to get enough depth of field. As a result, my hazelnut is now unfortunately a bit too present in the background.
I just hope that the many beautiful details on the willow catkins invite you to zoom and thus distract from her enough.
Was wäre ein Frühling ohne meine Weidenkätzchen. Mindestens eine Aufnahme von Ihnen gehört einfach immer dazu.
Leider musste ich den größten Teil das Baumes im letzten Jahr fällen, da er schon ziemlich alt war und der Schnee ihn auseinander gedrückt und große Teile von ihm abgebrochen hatte. Doch bereits im letzten Jahr wuchsen neue Triebe aus der Wurzel, die inzwischen schon wieder fast 3 Meter hoch sind und wie man sieht, auch wieder blühen werden.
Diese hier habe ich gestern fotografiert. Nach einem heftigen Regenschauer kam am Nachmittag nochmal kurz die Sonne heraus und machte diese Aufnahme möglich. Da ich frei Hand fotografiert habe, und die Kamera über meinen Kopf halten musste (die Blüten hängen mehr als zwei Meter hoch), war Fokus Stacking nicht möglich. Also musste ich mit geschlossener Blende arbeiten um genug Tiefenschärfe zu erhalten. Dadurch ist jetzt leider meine Haselnuss im Hintergrund etwas zu präsent.
Ich hoffe einfach mal, dass die vielen wunderschönen Dateils an den Weidenkätzchen zum zoomen einladen und damit ausreichen von ihr ablenken.
