In the order in which I post my pictures, it is always important to me that there is a balance between the motifs. This is not always easy, because it sometimes happens that a picture is only shown months, sometimes even years after completion. Well, at some point I decided to do it that way, and I'm sticking to it now.
And so today it goes seamlessly from the great expanse to a look at the detail. I still have a photo of my physalis shooting left, which I would like to present to you today.
Bei der Reihenfolge, in der ich meine Bilder poste, kommt es mir immer auf eine Ausgewogenheit der Motive an. Das ist nicht immer ganz einfach, denn so passiert es manchmal, dass ein Bild erst Monate, manchmasl sogar Jahre nach Fertigstellung gezeigt wird. Doch ich habe das irgendwann einmal so entschieden, und da bleibe ich jetzt auch dabei.
Und so geht es heute von der großen Weite nahtlos zum Blick auf das Detail. Ich habe noch ein Foto meines Physalis shootings übrig, was ich Euch heute gerne präsentieren möchte.

At the weekend we had high visitors in our garden. A group of admirals sat down on the overripe fruits of our honeysuckle to fortify themselves with the (probably) very sweet juice of the berries. Unfortunately they were too shy to let me photograph the open wings.
Since they first appeared this year and then too numerous (at least 4 at a time) I think they are preparing for their journey.
Admirals are migratory butterflies that fly over the Alps to southern Europe and sometimes even as far as Africa in autumn, at least 1,500 to 2,500 km, to spend the winter there. An overwhelming achievement for such a delicate creature. So I'm happy to provide them with a refueling station.
Am Wochende hatten wir hohen Besuch bei uns im Garten. Eine Gruppe Admirale hatte sich auf den überreifen Früchten unseres Geißblattes niedergelassen um sich mit dem (wahrscheinlich) sehr süßen Saft der Beeren zu stärken. Leider waren sie zu schüchtern, um mich die geöffneten Flügel fotografieren zu lassen.
Da sie das erste Mal dieses Jahr und dann auch noch so zahlreich erschienen sind (mindestens 4 auf einmal) glaube ich, dass sie sich gerade auf Ihre Wanderung vorbereiten.
Admirale sind nämlich Wanderfalter, die im Herbst über die Alpen nach Südeuropa und manchmal sogar bis nach Afrike fliegen, immerhin 1.500 bis 2.500 km, um dort zu überwintern. Eine überwältigende Leistung für so ein zierliches Geschöpf. Da stelle ich ihnen doch gern eine Tankstelle zur Verfügung.

Sorry for being so late, but too many tasks are keeping me on the run. I hope it will get better some day.
There probably will no big firework happening today. That’s why I'm taking recourse to a flower photograph what, with some fantasy (ok, lots of fantasy) is looking similar to one.
And with that I thank You all from the bottom of my heart for Your interest, the time You spend with my photos and Your warm and motivating comments.
I wish You a soft transition into the year 2022 and I'm looking forward to show You many more beautiful moments.
Mit großem Feuerwerk soll es ja heute nichts werden. Aus diesem Grund greife ich auf ein Blumenfoto zurück, was mit etwas Fantasie (na gut mit ganz schön viel Fantasie) einem ähnlich sieht.
