Today, my sweet Gypsy gelding Pete, turns 13 years old. I just took this photo out in the barn. I'm going to ride him a bit later. Probably more like a birthday present to me than to him, LOL. But he'll go along with it of course, because that’s just the kind of guy he is 😊

Loving this cooler fall weather. After the dreadful summer we had this is so welcome, temps that call for sweatshirts. I'm wearing my favorite sweatshirt. I got it in Alaska and it says "It's cooler in Alaska". Has a bear on it of course :-). And the bear is wearing glasses, like me

This shop has dozens of vintage gas pumps; located in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming. I have no idea if this place is still in operating but thought it was a quite interested to see this place with a lot of old gas pumps.

My oldest cat, Pete, 20 years old, on May 22, 2021 — four months and 6 days before he would die. I did get some photos of him looking into the camera that day, but I like this one where he decided he was tired of having his picture taken and walked away.

Now called Grand Portage Island, this island was called Pete's Island many years ago, it is a natural breakwater protecting the bay. Viewed from in front of the visitor's center at the Grand Portage National Monument.

Had to try another quick shot this week. Pete isn't feeling that well so he had to go in for some fluids today. He gets a little addisonian this time of year with the fireworks going off. He seems a little better but he will go back in for some more fluids tomorrow.

A shot of my friend Pete Smallwood under Myton bridge in Hull. I lit this with two flashes. Both to my left, one pointing towards pete at 1/16 and another pointing into a reflector at full power.
