I was just at Olbrich Gardens in Madison, Wisconsin this past week to catch the early bloom. We were early, only a few of the magnolias were starting to open. My mind drifted to last summer when I made this image up close with my Sony.

I was walking by the hibiscus plants and noticed these petals laying all over the sidewalk. It made me reflect on how beautiful things are so delicate and so easily destroyed. Enjoy the little things in life as much as you can, as things can fall apart with just a little breeze.
