The whole building tooks like it could use some pest control work. This is obviously an organization that does not 'eat its own dogfood'.
Carpenter bees with it's shiny black abdomen (and distinguished from bumblebees that are fuzzy) rarely sting. They are important pollinators, but can become a nuisance pest of structures.
Female praying mantis' create an egg case or ootheca in the fall that they deposit on woody foliage. In the spring, when temperatures are warm, dozens of praying mantis nymphs emerge from the egg case and look for food. Though originally hatched indoors, these insects were released outdoors on a warm, sunny day.
Setaceous antennae are bistle-like, with each segment more sland than the previous (periodical cicada)

The bat bug is an ectoparasite of bats, and can be found in homes with a resident bat population. Bat bugs are distinguished from bed bugs by the fringe hairs on their pronotum (the shield-looking part below their head). If the hairs on the pronotum are the same length or longer than the eye - it is a bat bug. For more information: ohioline.osu.edu/hyg-fact/2000/2105a.html

Common Wasp (Vespula vulgaris).
Wasp nest removed from a bird box, photographed a couple of days after it was treated by pest control as the wasps were causing a nuisance on school grounds.
The nest contained the queen wasp and many workers including all stages of development from eggs through larvae to adults about to emerge from their papery cells. Some of the larvae were still alive.
Here you can see the layered comb structure of the nest which is constructed of wood pulp and saliva which the wasps have made by chewing on wooden objects (they can't make wax in the way that bees do). The layers are kept separate by little pillars called Petioles.

Seen in Fowler, Indiana, this unusual car is a VW Bug based kit car. One of 6000 made between 1971 and 1981. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bradley_Automotive Thanks to another flickrite Dave_7 for the information posted on another members picture if this interesting car. I first saw this car, where it is, in Fowler, IN, ohhh maybe a year ago. On that day it was covered in snow and it was too dark. I made a mental note to try again another day. So, when I was in the area today, I searched this car out again, to get the pictures here.
Adult Norway rat skulls are 1/2 inch (12 mm) in height and 3/4 inch (19 mm) wide. These dimensions determine the size of openings a rat can enter. Rodent teeth grow continuously; up to about 5 inches per year.
