Red Bull Air Race qualifying in Perth, Western Australia.
A group of parachutists jumped before the qualifying started. This one had a huge Perth flag, another had a huge Aussie flag, and the other guys had flares.
It must have been tough with such a large flag in the strong winds...

The S-class carried the names of Western Australian mountains and S 542 received the name "Bakewell" in WAGR service. Its construction had been delayed by wartime material shortages, and interestingly was constructed at about the same time as the ASG Garratts.

St John the Baptist, Princes Street. Perth, 1851.
Scottish Episcopal.
By J, WH & JM Hay - 'The Hays of Liverpool'.
John Hay (1811-1861).
William Hardie Hay (1813-1901).
James Murdoch Hay (1823-1915).
B listed.
St John the Baptist Episcopal Church is a good example of high Victorian Mid-Pointed Gothic by renowned practitioners of the style, Hay & Hay of Liverpool. Characterised by its solid massing and substantial spire, the building occupies a prominent site toward the north end of Princes Street and is notable for the quality of its detailing and interior. The broadly English country treatment adopted here is unusual in Perthshire, adding to its distinctiveness.
Sadly, a poor shot taken into the sun - but taken, nonetheless, for the record.
