Underground entrance to new bus station in Wellington Street in the Perth city centre built as part of the Perth City Link project. It connects to the existing signalised intersection at William Street. It was not yet opened at the time of these pictures in June 2016.
Perth City Link is a major urban renewal project and involved lowering part of the Fremantle railway line west of Horseshoe Bridge where yards were formerly located and demolition of the former Perth Entertainment Centre built in 1974, replaced by Perth Arena.
The underground busport replaces the former Wellington Street bus station which opened in 1973 and also made way for the project.

The "domestic" block at 63A has been targetted by the local neds, no doubt under some freedom of expression thing. Some attempt has been made to secure the place but it is open to further attack.
This is and what was called " the back of the shed". Once the domain of out of use locos, stock, breakdown crane and snow ploughs, it is now a Royal Mail car park.

Old Perth Gaol was built between 1854 and 1856, and operated until 1888 when the last prisoner was transferred to fremantle prison.
The gaol was built from limestpone cut from the cliffs at Rocky Bay near Fremantle and floated up the Swan River on barges.

Perth Concert Hall Completed in summer 2005 at a cost of £17m, the new concert hall houses a 1200 seater auditorium with flexible flooring, staging and seating allowing it to host exhibitions, and conferences as well as orchestral and other musical performances.
